Thanks to the more-than-a thousand Stevies, Chiffonheads and Enchanted Gypsies who turned out so beautifully on Friday, May 3 for our 23rd edition. Please visit NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES on the JACKIE FACTORY YOUTUBE for dozens of videos from this year's show (still being added) and FACEBOOK FAN PAGE for links to hundreds of pictures from THE NIGHT. We will see you next year, and will announce the 2014 date around New Year's.

The twenty-third annual NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES - the largest and most beloved STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world - returns to New York City's HIGHLINE BALLROOM on May 3. NOTS 23: CRYSTAL was inspired by the classic BUCKINGHAM NICKS (and later, FLEETWOOD MAC) song, and its themes of water and sea: "Through the crystal like and clear water fountain/ Drove me like a magnet, to the sea.." Imagined in the wake of HURRICANE SANDY, this year's NOTS will include aquatic Stevie references from STORMS to BLUE WATER. NOTS 23: CRYSTAL is also a well-timed homage to the seminal BUCKINGHAM NICKS album on its 40th anniversary.

Event producers THE JACKIE FACTORY are delighted to announce the 2013 bill: The NOTS 23 Returning Legends are crowd favorites THE HO-HOs (CATHY CERVENKA and JILL PANGALLO), JAZMEN FLOWERS (MISSISSIPPI), AMBER MARTIN, POISON EVE and DARLINDA JUST DARLINDA, VANGELINE THEATER, THE PLAY BABIES (KENTUCKY), DIRTY MARTINI, HEATHER LITTEER, THE RACHEL KLEIN THEATER, JOHNNY QUINLAN, DARRELL THORNE, THE DIVINE GRACE, GYPSY DUST and SUZIE NICKS with FLEETWOOD MAXX. Your ENCHANTRESSES OF CEREMONY are show founder CHI CHI VALENTI, longtime co-producer HATTIE HATHAWAY and BURNING MAN eminence EDITRIX ABBY.

New interpretations will come from seven 2013 debuts, including the show opening featuring spectacular dance/performance ensemble DESERT SIN. Begun in Los Angeles, the troupe and its director DJAHARI CLARK now are based in New York and perform lavishly in both cities. The Nashville/NYC country singer and songwriter JENNA TORRES will also debut this year, as will beloved club impresario and crooner LEE CHAPPELL and Lavender Soul sensation XAVIER. Expect exquisite musical theatrics from KYLE SUPLEY (Upright Citizen's Brigade graduate and downtown thesbian) and pianist/composer PAUL LESCHEN, with choreography by Broadway's WENDY SEYB. DJ RAD and PUSSY NOIR host the PINK SOCK themed queer performance monthlies in Washington, D.C. and will serve latenight Stevie Realness with a clubby twist. This year's bill also introduces our first performance by a NYC subway Stevie busker, Brooklyn-based folksinger LINDSAY DRAGAN.

Some of NOTS' brightest and best-dressed stars can be found twirling in the audience during the "all-Stevie, all-Fleetwood" dance breaks. The 2013 DJ roster features event legends CRAIG SPENCER, JOHNNY DYNELL and VJ TRE (D.C.) who will also mix original Nicks multimedia and rare video clips for the first hour. NOTS costume designer extraordinaire MACHINE DAZZLE will create costuming for the evening's "Method Stevie Go-Go" troupe including himself, VANGELINE FRANCE, neo-burlesquer KAT MON DIEU and NOTS Legend COCO. They will appear between the marathon show's three sets and before its brilliant finale BATTLE OF A THOUSAND STEVIES.

SUGGESTED DRESS: Crystals and Crystal Balls, The Mermaid Nicks, Lady of the Lake Inspired, Enchanted Eveningwear, Nautical Top Hats, Best Pre-Raphaelite Hair in Rock and Roll, Stevie's Blue Period, Victorian Mirrors, Lindsey or John McVie Pirate Effects, Silver Shawls, Shipwrecked Stevie, Annabel Lee Gothic Glamour or your own Total Stevie Realness (all eras).

NOTS VIDEO FROM STEVIE IN 2011

The 21st annual NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES was held at THE HIGHLINE BALLROOM in New York City on Friday, May 6, 2011. NOTS 21: THE WILD HEART was a SOLD OUT Victorian heart-flavored edition inspired by one of Stevie's early albums - THE WILD HEART - and its title song. It was a special week for STEVIE NICKS fans everywhere, with the debut on May 3 of her first studio album in a decade, IN YOUR DREAMS. The show opened with a special surprise from The Goddess herself - a video message to all the NOTS attendees - watch it here!

The 2013 NOTS poster was designed by JOHNNY DYNELL for THE JACKIE FACTORY and photographed by AARON COBBETT. The NOTS 23 cover Stevie is DANIELLE MARIE FUSCO, who performs with the RACHEL KLEIN THEATER ensemble.

Born in 1991 at the tiny performance venue MOTHER, "The Night" is now in its 23rd year, even inspiring the 2001 film GYPSY 83. Neither a contest nor a karaoke show, NOTS is the Stevie celebration ne plus ultra - a riot of shawls, lace, baby's breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance. This much-loved annual has hosted Stevie fans and celebrated guests and performers including DEBBIE HARRY, BOY GEORGE, COURTNEY LOVE, CYNDI LAUPER and so many more.
