MOTHER IMMORTALMOTHER was a seminal underground nightclub and laboratory for new nightlife open in NYC from 1996 till 2000. MOTHER was home to JACKIE 60, CLICK + DRAG, LONG BLACK VEIL + THE VAMPYRE LOUNGE, THE CLIT CLUB, MARTHA @ MOTHER, MEAT and more. Countless creative partnerships and careers were launched there but the place is equally famous for the many lifelong friendships it fed. Club regular DEBBIE HARRY and BLONDIE released MOTHER - a song about it - in 2011.
