NEWS AND PROJECTS FOR MAY/JUNE- NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES sold out the HIGHLINE BALLROOM on Friday, May 3. This annual STEVIE NICKS spectacle is VERY well documented- visit the website for videos and photos. - THE DOWNTOWN COSTUME INSTITUTE spearheaded RAGS ARE RICHES, a Costume Recycling drive with HOWL ARTS INC. for community performers. The drive culminated in a costume giveaway at BOWERY POETRY on 5/5 during the NEW MUSEUM's biannual IDEAS CITY Festival. - THE JACKIE FACTORY will present LOW LIFE 7: BOWERY BOMBSHELLS to close the tenth annual HOWL FESTIVAL in Tompkins Square Park, Sunday, June 2.
