AT HIGHLINE BALLROOM NYC

Night of a Thousand Stevies is probably the best-known STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world, a riot of shawls, lace, baby's breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance. This event began at JACKIE 60 twenty years ago with four performers, and has grown into a true spectacle, featuring countless interpretations over a marathon night. This year's twentieth anniversary edition SISTERS OF THE MOON has just been announced, and legendary performers including JUSTIN BOND, THE HOHOS, SHERRY VINE and EPIPHANY, ST. EVE, THE DIVINE GRACE, HEATHER LITTEER, ADAM DUGAS and MIA THEODORATUS, GYPSY WILDE and AMBER RAY will grace the stage.

Tis the "slow season" in New York City clubs, when the tourists are few and the Real New Yorkers come out and play. ROB ROTH and CHI CHI VALENTI's annual Future-Spectacle CLICK + DRAG returned on October 17 for its 2009 edition, THE SECOND COMING. CLICK 3.1 celebrated gender-bending new prophets and prophetesses, with a strict dress code demanding magnificent, imaginative or extreme costume.
